From publisher Michael Eisenberg:

I want to sincerly thank you Duncan for submitting these two pieces to the Acousmatic Crossings series. The second one, “Spores” will be forthcoming later in the year. Both of these pieces have gone a long way in my developing a much greater appreciation for “noise” as music, and also for something deeper. The weird naturalism of their (and the sounds themselves) genesis is like icing on the cake making an imaginal journey a truly unusual and unique experience. My listening to them has been 100% through a decently high end pair of headphones and it’s really something to behold!
