ARCHITECTURAL GLASS INNOVATIONS:

1980’s: Creation of the first custom design “Japanese Rice Paper Laminates” manufactured and sold in the U.S., launching a new concept for glass with far reaching results still ongoing today.

1990’s: Introduction of “Aerial Topographical Themes” into architectural glass using “texturing” of the surface of glass to render it organic and terrain-like.

2000's: Design initiatives included four new designs for architectural and interior design applications:

1. “Metallic Atmospheres”: A direct pure metal (aluminum, brass, copper, nickel, etc.) application to the surface of glass using a thermal arc spray system, includes custom laminating of metal surfaces between glass.
2. Butterfly Wing”: Using metal spray to selectively chip the surface of glass, with the option of coating the chipped sections in various metals or combinations.
3. “Patina Metal Screens”: Introducing a light shifting and beautifully organic sculptural color scheme into flat laminated glass. These include one of a kind patinas, on copper or stainless steel wire mesh screens, laminated into glass.
4. “Photographic Surface Inter-Layers”: Creating translucent panels of metallic glass and stone surfaces from custom designed photographic transparencies of actual glass surfaces.
