	PSYCHO VIBRATIONAL STIMULATION From about 1987 on we have been experimenting with the picture making facility of the mind associated with sound and music, called eidetic imagery. Shaping the eidetic image is an ancient art form associated with storytelling and music of all kinds. We became particularly interested in the capacity of sound to shape an image of emptiness in the mind. Atmospheric sounds like short wave background noise and even modulated white noise can precipitate an experience of altered consciousness when ones attention is enveloped by that experience. To investigate these states we employed a Bradford Genesis Device allowing the listener to be completely sonically surrounded three dimensionally by speakers and transducers, creating a ‘tuned cavity’.
